A night at the races

Hey guys, Today I'm going to be bringing you with me to a Friday night out at the races! last Friday it was my boyfriends birthday so to celebrate we went on a double date to the races, and indulged in a 4 course meal for only £60pp which may initially sound steep but this covers all 3 meals, table service and first class seats in the beautiful restaurant with front row seats beside the finish line of the race course so you can watch the horses finish their race while u eat your meal, and if your lucky hopefully win some money too!    First course - Starter I was looking forward to my starter the most this time at the races as we had gotten the menu emailed to us and had gone in knowing what I was going to eat already, For the starter we had the choice of 4 dishes, potato and leek soup, mushroom and chicken vol au vent, salmon salad and Caesar salad. I opted for the soup as this is my favourite type of soup so I was very excited to see this on the menu and it was stunning. The...

All you can eat!

I you are much of a fan of an all you can eat restaurant as I am then you need to check this one out if you haven't already! recently I visited Cosmos in Belfast after what I would say has been years of wanting and waiting to visit this restaurant. I've always known cosmos to be a great place to eat after hearing about friends going there many years ago and always wanting to go to try it for myself but never getting the chance. well finally I took the plunge and for the absolutely unreal price of just £19 per person it was so worth it.

Having only been to 1 other all you can eat restaurant in my life but absolutely loving it I thought I knew what to expect when visiting here but I was completely overwhelmed going in. my main concern for going was that I wasn't going to be able to find anything that I wanted or liked to eat as I didn't know what food to expect, but if this was anyone else's concern about visiting don't worry! as they have the selection to meet everyone's pallets

The Setup:

Picture this – walking into a place that screams cozy yet fancy, with a dash of Chinese, Asian, and Italian vibes. The chatter, the sizzle from the kitchen – it was all part of the excitement. I knew I was in for a treat.

Round 1: Chinese and Asian Feast

The party kicked off with a bang – a buffet full of hot dim sum, dumplings, stir-fried noodles, and curries that made my taste buds dance. Seriously, every bite was like a flavor explosion. Hats off to the chefs for nailing it!

Sushi Wonderland:

Now, if you're a sushi fanatic like me, this place is your paradise. Rolls, sashimi, nigiri – you name it, they had it. From classic California rolls to wild fusion creations, it was a sushi lover's dream. Who knew I could get such legit sushi in Belfast?

Italian Love Affair:

Next up, we waltzed over to Italy. The air was filled with the smell of garlic, herbs, and tomato goodness. DIY pasta stations let us create our pasta dreams, and wood-fired pizzas added that rustic Italian touch. It was like a mini Italian escape right in the middle of Belfast.

Sweet Tooth Satisfaction and Never-ending Drinks:

No feast is complete without a sweet ending, right? The dessert spread was like a sugar lover's heaven – cakes, pastries, and Asian-inspired treats galore. And as if that wasn't enough, there were bottomless drinks flowing with a large range of soft drink choices to choose from all for £2.99 extra!

Closing Thoughts:

So, if you're ever in Belfast and you're into stuffing your face with the best of Chinese, Asian, and Italian delights, plus a sushi party and sweet treats to boot, you got to hit up this all-you-can-eat spot. It's not just a meal; it's a foodie adventure you won't forget. Trust me, your taste buds will thank you!
